Day burns down to night
Burns the edge of my soul
As everything is out of sight

Everything is white
Yet dark as coal

Let Darkness take flight
As you take a toll

Don’t see the light
That the devil stole

Everything in mind is tight
Dark thoughts fill a bowl
As everything is out of sight

Waiting for the light
That does not fill a hole
